Nur Yunlu Art

Nur was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. She carries an untold story of the immigrant process in the
U.S., and art is the only language she may find without
language and cultural barriers to express her experiences
and connect with others on a deeper level.

Nur's journey as an immigrant has shaped her perspective
on the power of art as a universal means of communication. Through her artwork, she strives to bridge the gap between different cultures and foster understanding among diverse communities.

Nur's passion for art not only allows her to share her own story but also encourages others to embrace their own unique narratives and find common ground through creativity.

It would be difficult to define Nur’s art as a single medium. She appreciates experimenting with
different mediums, such as black ink, charcoal powder, watercolor, and acrylic, to create and tell
stories of her world.

Black-and-white art has a specific place in the artist’s journey. The absence of color meets fuzzy
texture with charcoal powder and black ink allow to viewer diving to Nur’s artwork a feeling of
depth and emotion.

Watercolor is a medium for her art that adds color harmony and texture by bringing vibrant
colors together.

Nur's passion for screen printing has driven her to learn more about the process, continually
pushing herself to create unique and eye-catching pieces.

With her new project, she hopes to challenge herself by experimenting with different floral motifs and incorporating them into her signature style, promising a breathtaking collection of
100 flowers.

Nur’s art journey will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on viewers eager to see her visual
story and follow her journey via her Instagram, Facebook and TikTok (@nuryunluart) accounts.
